Attorney David B of Canyons Law Group LLC was paid a retainer fee of $2500.00 (paid in full) to represent my daughter *** for her divorce. He was told she is special needs from the beginning. The divorce was finalized and alimony was to begin payment from *** March 1, 2017. *** made only partial payments. Attorney B said we had to wait 90 days to do anything about it. By the end of the 90 days *** a VP with Goldman Sachs severed his employment and cashed in his 401K and moved to Tennessee and purchased a home. I believe the last alimony payment received by *** was in April 2017. *** also was due moneys from ***'s pension (401K) when he cashed it in.
Attorney B in each instance of being told *** was not paying alimony said we had to wait. Then when *** moved out of state Attorney B said "I have to serve him with a subpoena but we don't know where he is". When *** found ***'s address in Tennessee and forwarded it to Attorney B by email he stopped responding to her.
