Crestmark Construction

Crestmark is ignoring my request to fix their mistakes on landscape/hardscape work. It's been 6 months of being passed from 1 employee to the next.
I hired Crestmark Construction to install a new roof, solar panels and landscape/hardscape. The projects totaled *** which has been paid in full. The contract was signed on 1/22/2020. This complaint is in regards to their landscape/hardscape work which began on 1/23/2020 and ceased on 3/4/2020.

1. Crestmark completely bungled the landscape/hardscape work they did on my property. One week after they installed turf and pavers we had heavy rain and several areas started to sink. They sent out a new work crew to fix the issues, however they only fixed what was visible and would not agree to redo the whole project. This week (2nd week of September and 6 months after work completion) I noticed another area under the pavers that has started to sink. 2. It has been more than 6 months of waiting for Crestmark to come back to my home to install the turf in an area where I paid them to install turf but instead they installed gravel. I have dealt with several Crestmark employees concerning this in the course of 6 months and issue is still not resolved. In late March Crestmark sent out a manager named *** who promised to send someone to finish the turf installation, but I never heard from him again. A month later I was told that *** was fired so I had to start the whole process again with another employee named ***. I communicated with *** via phone and email for 2.5 months from April 23 - July 7 then I never heard from her again either, but I managed to get in writing from her that Crestmark agreed to come back to my home to finish the turf. I later learned that she too was fired. Mid July I called Crestmark and yet again had to start the whole process with another employee - I was told to leave a message for *** (***) who had taken over from ***, but *** proceeded to ignore my messages for almost 2 weeks. I finally tracked her down via her cell phone so from July 28 - August 10 I dealt with *** until she too stopped responding to my text messages. In the middle of this the company owner, *** Amir, came to my home and I showed him the area where I was still waiting to get turf installed. I showed *** text messages between me and his salesman and the email from *** and *** assured me he would get a crew out promptly to finish this turf area. I mentioned I wanted to build steps for this same area and *** told me to get the steps done first then he would install the turf. The steps have been built but I have not heard from *** for 3 weeks now. Both *** and *** are ignoring my text messages and as I have now made my way up the top of the chain, I feel that I have wasted 6 months and so much money and they are hoping that I would give up at this point. I do not believe Crestmark/*** have any intention of providing the services promised. 3. During the demolition of the patio cover, Crestmark's crew damaged my rain gutter. *** said she was working on scheduling someone to come out to replace the gutter but as stated *** has stopped responding to me.

Per the contract we signed with Crestmark on 4/23, they were supposed to replace all damaged 1x6 boards on our roof prior to laying shingles. On 5/11, the City of Fullerton, failed our project due to wood missing and replacement 1x6 not completed. Instead, we were informed we needed to resheet the entire roof for another *** which we agreed to. Before they laid the plywood, Crestmark did not replace the damaged 1x6's and now they are cracked and showing underneath the eaves of the house (we assume there are more damaged pieces, but this is all we can see from outside the house). This has been going on back and forth now for over 2 weeks since they placed the last shingle on 5/20. We just want our roof finished in accordance with the contract we signed. Nothing more, nothing less. We have been promised a crew to come out on more than 3 occasions and no one has showed up. We have been told the owner, *** wants to talk to us directly, but we have yet to receive a phone call. *** in the office and her field supervisors continue to give us the runaround. When we call the office, we cannot get in touch with anyone and it takes days to return our calls.

We are also supposed to receive a release for all payments we have already furnished to Crestmark, yet *** refuses to give us any type of receipt of our payments. We are also waiting on the list of subcontractors and suppliers used to protect us from a lien, the office refuses to give us that information as well.
