Creative Wood Ventures

I just recently had Creative Wood Ventures make me a custom mirror framed in birch bark with coat hooks. I was wanting an artistic touch given to the mirror and discussed with the owner my visions for having a piece that shows an artsy feel and complements the artwork that presently hangs in my home. My wife and I have been enjoying collecting artwork from all over for the last 30 years of our marriage. I knew that what I was asking him to make would be challenging, once meeting the owner and seeing his wood working shop along with the unique artwork that he is able to create with wood. I feel he truly has a talent and an eye for working with any kind of wood. And the many choices available of wood, from very rare to authentic barn wood and drift wood from the local lake. The coworker that turned me on to him had spoken about the prices being a little more than I wanted to pay, but after seeing the finished product in my home, I now know who I will go to for my next piece. I will never question the price of any of the products that come from his shop, because the quality speaks for itself. i'm a very satisfied customer, and I would feel safe recommending him for any kind of custom, quality woodwork.
