2/4/Compliant against Codata IT LLC out of Elmwood, IlI was online last Saturday when I got a message with "Microsoft" at the top of the messageIt stated that I had a huge amount of errors on my computer and that I need to call in order to fix the problemBeing "Microsoft" was at the top of message box, I calledOf course it was an overseas customer service rep who talked real fastI should've known something was up when he told me his name was Steve ***This was obviously cuz he had an Indian accentHe said he was with Codata ITI asked if he was affiliated with Microsoft, and he said "yes", and he can fix the problem but it was going to cost me $I went ahead and did it believing I was dealing with a reputable companyThen I got ahold of Microsoft and they said they not only don't have an affiliation with this company, they've never heard of themI gave MS al the detailsI then called Codata back at 1-800-861-xand informed them of what I found ou
