Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
To whom this may concern,Regarding the information that was indicated on the complaint, nowhere was there any indication that this was sold as a floor sampleStipulations regarding floor samples are as follows; they are sold as is final sales no refunds or exchanges no warranties applyI have a
signed contract (sales order to indicate this was signed for by the client and understood by the client.) I have attached Sales order # *** to substantiate the purchase of a floor sample signed and initialed by the client. Having said that, we were under the impression that we had another table in the warehouse supposedly new, that we were going to deliver to the client in lieu of the sale being a floor sampleThe client was made aware of this and it was agreed that we would give the table as new.Unfortunately when this table was delivered to the client, it was clear that the base on this table was cracked in several places and chairs had some issues as well. I had spoken to the client and apologized for this and told the client that we would give him the original floor sample from the store and would exchange the chairs as wellWe had rescheduled the redelivery and the pickup of the defective merchandise. At the time of the second delivery the client called and indicated that the table base that was just delivered was in fact in worse condition than the one previously deliveredI personally looked over the table that was on the selling floor prior to the delivery service picking this upThe table base was the same one originally agreed to with no visible defects. When I received the phone call from the client I was a little taken backHe was telling me that the table that I gave him was not the one that was on the floor, I told him that it was the same table that he originally agreed toAt this point I advised the drivers to remove all products from the clients’ home and that I would issue a full refundIn fact after refunding the total amount to the client on January 6th I sent him an email advising him that we had issued his refund and offered him as a gesture of good will, his choice of an accessory for his experience with us. I have been managing retail operations for nearly years and pride myself on customer service and customer satisfactionUnfortunately this was an unresolvable situation and there would have been nothing that I could have done to satisfy this client. Sincerely, Retail Operations Manager
