Had we known all the effort, anxiety, and nonsense this would have taken when were sold false promises and lies in March, we would have never signed. It simply isn't worth it with this company.

I am rejecting this response because:
We have given Creative Enclosures every opportunity to repair the damage to the dry wall, and inspect for further damageHe refused to do these repairs while he was here to repair an issue his workmanship createdWe do not believe that we should have to incur any further out of pocket costsWe will meet all other requirements that Creative Enclosures has requested after they have provided the money and repairs are completeFurthermore, we would have much rather had Creative Enclosures repair the drywall while they were here
Sincerely,

from another contractor to correct what he believes is damaged. We have asked for the following conditions be met prior to us paying the $1,500.00. They are the following:
1. Progress photos of the repair being performed.
2. Proof of payment to the contractor. Cancelled check or credit card statement showing paid.
3. A signed release. Releasing our company from any further claims for the work that the new contractor is repairing.
4. And now withdrawing this complaint.
If [redacted] is having the work performed then there should be no hesitation on his part to provide us with the above. Upon receipt we will issue him a check immediately.

Dear Revdex.com,
We respectfully reject [redacted] response. We explained to [redacted] that during our inspection we observed that all of his requests for interior work was not required and was within industry standards. To further demonstrate our willingness to resolve this matter we have agreed to pay for the repairs that he has indicated and obtained estimates for the repair. We will pay for these repairs when the conditions are met. This payment will be made in certified funds. Prior to [redacted] filing this complaint with the Revdex.com he filed a complaint with the bank that funded the project. During those discussions we have agreed to the same conditions. If these repairs are in fact needed, then simply have the work performed, pay for it and upon proof of the payment, photos of the repair, signing of the release (which will be submitted today) and removal of this complaint payment will be made.
Our company has a clean and stellar record with the Revdex.com for 27 years because we do what we say we are going to do and when there are challenges we work at finding a resolution. We have done this and believe that [redacted] should have no reason to reject these simple conditions.
Thank you.

Review: We had Creative Enclosures build a 3 season addition. After completion, water was leaking through an existing window next to the roofline of the new addition. We contacted owner [redacted], who recommended gutters. He said window was probably never sealed properly. He said he would give a quote to seal window. He never followed up. We hired a contractor to install gutters, and he noticed a piece of siding was missing above the window in question, which could cause the leak. Water continued to leak into the house, despite gutters. We contacted [redacted] informing him again, also asking him to check roof on the new addition. He disregarded our concern of the roof and sent out a worker to pull the siding around the window and the addition to investigate and repair. He installed [redacted] sealant above window. He said they had the window flanges exposed during construction, and didn't know why they didn't install [redacted] then. I also showed him the missing siding and asked if he would install that. He said he remembered removing that piece, and would be glad to install it, but [redacted] didn't send him with any siding. He left. With lack of rain the next 2 days, I directed a stream of water from a garden hose around the window that was reportedly repaired. Again, water was leaking into the same spot. One of the floorboards was now warping along with water leaking in a second spot, out of the trim above the new french doors. I again contacted [redacted] and asked him to investigate and repair the issue. He insisted that the problem was not caused by his work, and would not agree to come out without charging us a $750 retainer. We refused to pay. Finally he agreed to investigate/conduct repairs as necessary only if we sign another contract. [redacted] and his builder found that standard roof flashing was never installed, which caused the window leak and water in the walls. They did repair this. [redacted] then, did acknowledge floor and wall damage, but refused to repair. Despite contract agreement to fix all repairs, he left our property.Desired Settlement: Payment for drywall repairs upfront, without a signed release of responsibility for Creative Enclosures. We have given Creative Enclosures every opportunity to repair any damage due to their mistake, and they have refused to complete the repairs. Now they will only pay for the repairs if we are willing to release Creative Enclosures of any further responsibility for the project as a whole. We believe this is unrealistic, as we have tried working with Creative Enclosures to resolve this many times. With the failure to provide a quality product initially, this would put us at a HUGE risk.
