Creative Catering

Review: We booked Creative Catering almost a year in advance and met with Teresa numerous times regarding food and services required for Arbor Crest Winery because they require full service catering to which Teresa agreed. While meeting at Arbor Crest with the wedding coordinator there, we went over everything that was to be expected of Teresa and Creative Catering. A week before the wedding we met at the venue to go over all of the needs on the day of the wedding and Teresa said she had no knowledge of it being full service and tried to charge us more money. The day of the wedding she refused to cut the cake saying that it was not part of her job. When we asked to use plates and utensils for our 280 guests, Teresa started yelling at us, saying that is not her job, using profanity saying. We were able to use a few plates that she left over, but the majority of our guests had to eat their cake from a napkin. There was zero professionalism in the way Teresa handled her business. We abbreviated the profanity as to comply with Revdex.com's rules. Teresa used full words.Desired Settlement: We request a partial refund of our money. We feel that Teresa not cutting, serving and providing plates and utensils for the cake violated the agreement we made when we booked Creative Catering. We also feel embarrassed that we had to serve our guests cake on napkins and find it utterly disrespectful and insulting the way Teresa yelled at us after we paid her the amount we agreed on, over $4500! For these reasons we request a refund in the amount of $500.
