Initial Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2015/05/11) */
The water line that was hit was not located by dig-rite. There was no way for us to know it was there. I repaired the waterline at no additional charge to customer. The water was restored that evening. The waterline in no way extended the job by...
one day.
The downspouts were not buried because it was not part of the scope of the job. If the customer wanted them buried she should of asked before hand. We could of performed the work at a additional charge. It was discussed and the customer was fine with the water running across the top of the sidewalk.
I did not put plastic on the concrete because that would of left marks that would be worse than what the customer is complaining about now. Instead my crew waited for three hours to make sure it was dry before we left.
The marred surface of her patio is minor and could be easily fixed with a top coat. which I offered and she fist accepted and then refused. also in her conversations with me there were gaps where I didn't get responses for as long as a month.
I went above and beyond for this customer. The soil in her yard wasn't suitable for growing grass so I brought in topsoil to backfill my work. That wasn't in my original price.
