Crate & Barrel

Crate & Barrel just had an overhaul of their online ordering system, so furniture ordered in May still remains undelivered in mid-August. For a retailer, I think this absolutely unacceptable. For perspective, I had a custom bed frame made and stained within this timeframe. Furthermore, when Crate & Barrel delivered our table two months later than the promised date, the furniture arrived with a dent and in a very dirty state. Unacceptable. I will never purchase furniture from here again.

Review: On Oct 28, 2013 I contacted Crate and Barrel re sagging cushions on sofa I purchased in Oct 2010 and that was delivered in November 2010. I emailed pix of sofa and was told they would get back to me. I followed up with calls 12/4/13,12/9/13, and 2/21/14. I also dropped by the store a number of times. I was consistently told someone would get back to me. On my last visit to the store in late March one of the managers said they would send out one of their furniture techs. He came on March 28th, took pix and told me it was defective foam and would file a report. I then got a call on March 31st from customer service who said they would pusue with teir vendor. She said I should know something in a week and mentioned there was a 3 year warranty on the cushion filling. I followed up with an email to manager stating that I hoped the 3 year period was complied with when I contacted them last October--5 months ago! Email from manager on April 1st stated it was being pursued aggressively. I have received no further communication from Crate and Barrel.Desired Settlement: I would like the cushion fillings replaced and a statement regarding the company's customer service policy particularly after I've been waiting almost 5 and a half months to get them to resolve this.
