Cranston Collision Center

This complaint is being filed due to the fact that said company misled me as a consumer. This company promised that they would handle all aspects of my Motor Vehicle Insurance Claim. I Reports my claim October 13th 2017 and was given an adjuster appointment on October 16th 2017 and that when Cranston Collision took possession of the vehicle. No Major collision damage to the vehicle at all just paint and windshield. I was told and settled the arrangements with *** (*** adjuster) and *** (cranston Collision) that the vehicle was in great hands. I was told that the rental was taken care of per policy for 30 days. I left a $50 deposit on my debit card for the rental and to be refunded after the claim was settled. The online claim center said it would be 11 days to finish the vehicle. I received the after all work was done on December 8th of 2017. Meanwhile, Cranston Collision contacted me and said, " *** has a delay with getting your windshield replaced and parts are on backorder so we have to wait. This being said the rental period had elapsed and was told my Representative that I needed to bring rental back and into one of their vehicles but the problem was NO SUV. I told them I can not have a Compact car due to the space needed to transport musical gear. I was told dont worry about it we will take care of the cost until I can get you in an suv......a little over a week passed and no callback from ***. I bring back the rental becasue they said that *** will no longer cover it. I took back and get into a ***. I could not transport my gear I needed and in turn had to subcontract out my jobs and lost money. ON TOP OF THAT I WAS CHARGED THE $50 DOLLARS on top of a $173 Charge for the rental from the SUV.

NOW!!!!! The work they did was very good with exception of a couple of things. Windshield molding are lifting and still a few minor spots scratched. I brought to ***' attention and got the hand shake and was told he would take care of it........I have called several times and getting run around of Parts on order and blows off the fact that I was charged the money........AND WAS CHARGED $450 deductible for a job that was not completed correctly
