Yes it is true that Mr [redacted] called us to replace the vent pipe, however at no time did Mr [redacted] tell our customer service representative that the furnace was not vented to code and was a definite safety issue. safe before we recommended putting money int the venting. As Mr [redacted] said all he wanted was the pipe replaced. Since that could not be done to code and created an unsafe situation we decided to walk away from the job. We could not assume the liability of doing what Mr [redacted] asked us to do. There was no charge to Mr [redacted] for this or any other service, If he wants to make an unsafe repair we are not the company for him.
