Review: CPR Restorations and Cleaning services took my Salvagable belongings from my home. In 2010 after a fire broke out . My complaint is they permantly damaged my table and other belongings. At this juntion they have been evasive and unresponsive. [redacted], the party in charge of the move took the table and shelf from the China cabinet with the promise to have them repaired and replaced. Then they brought me back piece of plywood painted in black to see if I would accept that. I spoke with [redacted] the Estimating Specialist and let him know that the large piece of black plywood was not acceptable. At this point I was told my property would be return or reemburse. I then spoke with [redacted] at your [redacted] location. And he stated I dont blame you I wouldn't have accepted the plywood either. So then he stated to get the estimated value of my property and send the paperwork to our company. Which was sent by my lawyer. Then I contacted [redacted] who was a supervisor at this [redacted] location. Who basically gave me the run around. Then finally she stated that I had already receive payment from the insurance company for property I have lost from them. Then I contacted my insurance company and they stated that they only pay for unsalvagable loss. My lawyer sent them the estimate of my property and a picture of my table. As of April 2014 my property has not been return. I have hired legal representation to contact someone about this matter. My legal representation has informed me that they have been unable to contact anyone concerning my legal issues. My adjustor, [redacted] hired your company to remove the salvagable items from my home, and when he was contact by my lawyer he also does not respond. The name of the company [redacted].Desired Settlement: Dining room tableShelf from china cabinetRouterDVD playerNail Gun

This complaint appears to be a legal issue. The client has obtained an attorney to address her allegations and has a significant balance remaining on her account. We have attempted to make resolution, but at this point await attorneys response to address both issues; claimants allegations of damage and supporting documents for their value, and our outstanding balance.
Review: In March 2014 there was water damage in my home as a result of a small electrical fire. CPR Restoration was called in by [redacted] adjusters to handle the clean up portion. In that process a number of things were done and a number of things were not done. The company went ahead and billed my insurance company with erroneous information. The bill has been sent to me along with insurance check but there are still items on the bill that were not done, yet CPR refuses to remove. They have claimed that they covered my belongings with plastic during the clean-up, but I have informed them on several occasions that nothing was covered with plastic. They have still proceeded to charge me. They have sent me pictures of what they consider covering furniture which entails plastic bags of clothing which were already there and a few plastic containers, but even that was not covered with plastic during the work. The company claims they did me a favor by removing a dump truck trash removal charge but the trash was actually left in my back yard for me to remove. There was no dump truck involved.Desired Settlement: Please remove plastic covering charge form the bill.

We have done our part to reach amicable resolution on this matter. While our invoice outlines charges in the amount of $4,273.38, and have agreed to accept a reduced fee of $3,895.87. Some of the items included in this invoice are advance billings, such as the debris removal and equipment removal charges. Upon carrier/client approval debris removal (including a dump truck) are completed. Since no notification was received on this particular project, the debris removal was not done and was then removed from the bill. Additionally, other minor adjustments were made to reduce the billing and reach a settlement. While the specific charges for the use of protective plastic was not among the reductions, this is because the charges were approved by the insurance adjuster on this file, and the work is supported in our photographs which have been sent to [redacted]. [redacted]. Under the circumstance, I feel our existing concession totaling $377.51 are sufficient resolution for this file.
