We had trouble with workers not showing up and just going through a handful of people trying to find the right people for the company ! I take full responsibility for everthing that happened and that's why I refunded the $1,She is happy she got the refund and I'm happy this was taken care of

I am rejecting this response because:  Mr. P[redacted] did not willingly refund my money.  I happened to see him at a restaurant one day after he repeatedly avoided my requests for reimbursement.  I asked him twice at the restaurant to refund my money, and he wrote me a check, after telling me that he would have to have that done though his accountant.  The check was submitted by my bank twice, and was returned for insufficient funds. After the check bounced and I contacted Mr. P[redacted] about it, he told me he would come to my house and reimburse me.  He did not show up.   I had to go to his bank in person and demand that the money be paid, and his bank was professional and accommodating and did give me the amount of the check in cash. I am fairly sure I will never get the bad check funds that my bank was forced to charge me back from Mr. P[redacted]. Mr. P[redacted] appears to be a habitual liar. He must have told me "It'll happen tomorrow" about a dozen times.Mr. P[redacted] has no business saying I am satisfied.  My fence gates still don't work properly, and the concrete work I expected to be done in April is still not done, and he never actually paid me back. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a contractor.
