12/1/17Dear Sir or madam, Mr [redacted] brought his vehicle in for inspectionWe informed him of his needs the next day and he said he would get back to usWe left many messages over the next two weeks with no return until I told Mr [redacted] we would start charging storageHe came into our business and talked with me on Monday July 10thI told him we would start charging $per day the next dayHe asked if we could wait one more day and he would have the car removed on Tuesday, I said fineHe didn’tAfter not hearing from him for another week we filed a mechanics lien on the vehicle through the [redacted] On the rare occasion we have to do this we always use them to have the correct process doneMr [redacted] called me on July 21st asking about having some work done and I informed him of the situation regarding the storage and lien fees, he said he would just come and get itHe didn’tObviously the value of the vehicle was very low due to all the mechanical repairs needed and the damage to the body also needing repairs, or he wouldn’t have left it here for such a small amountBut I have to go through the lien process to get rid of the vehicleI have talked to his lien holder twice and told them both times the paperwork is available at the [redacted] I also verified this with *** again this afternoonI now have legal title to the vehicle and it has been repairedI told his finance company the easiest answer might be for them to buy the vehicle back from me, rewrite his contract and give him the vehicleTo address his comment regarding the vehicle being reported stolen, it wasn’t as he brought the car to us [redacted] [redacted]
