When we purchased the car at the end of January, we were not told that it had a sun roof. It is not an obvious feature and one we had never discussed with the dealer. When we discovered the roof we also found that the glass was covered with large chips. When I brought this to the dealer's attention he refused to do anything about it. He never informed us of the sun roof so we had no opportunity to decide whether we would be willing to buy the car with this problem or to offer him less money so that we could get the damage fixed.I feel that since he withheld the information he should be responsible for the repair.
Repair I want the dealer to assume the cost of the repair.
I am familiar with Mrs *** she seemed to leave out the part that a month after the vehicle was purchased which we delivered to her house for her, that she brought the vehicle back and said there were little cracks in the windshield of the vehicle and we replaced her windshield on the vehicle at no expense to her a month after the purchase. She had the vehicle for two months before noticing a sunroof on the vehicle which does add a significant value to the vehicle and believes she should receive a discount? I would like to resolve her issue and thought we went above and beyond with delivering the vehicle to her and also replacing a windshield after a month of her driving the vehicle as a show of good faith and wanting her to be satisfied and enjoy her new car

My issue with the sun roof is that the feature was never presented to us and we had no clue that this feature even existed. If we had been presented with this issue when the car was purchased we would have had an opportunity to decide what action we would take. we discovered the existence of the sun roof by accident and as soon as we found the problem we returned to the dealer.The car had body damage when we purchased it and the understanding was that the damage would be fixed before we took possession of the vehicle. They repaired the obvious damage but they did not reveal the remaining problems. Their lack of disclosure is the issue.
Courage Kia will not be paying for any further repairs of the vehicle for Ms.. A panoramic sunroof is a very hard item to miss in any vehicle and it was on every description of the vehicle including being physically present on test drive and delivery. The roof having chips in the glass is not something the dealer or Kia cover under warranty implied or otherwise. We were already fair and reasonable when we replaced the windshield at our cost months after delivery. No further offer can be made on this issue.
