horrible horrible customer service
Will never attempt to use this company again. I had a set appointment with them from American home shield. When I made the appointment, I had asked for a call when in route as I have a 5-year-old to get from school and leave at 2.25 to get him and would be by 3. They never called showed up at 2;45 was at my door for 30 seconds according to camera and left and marked it as a no show. I called in the office at 255 and was told that the technician was out of the area and couldn't come back- he must drive real fast.
Office lady extremely rude yelling at me telling me that it's my fault. Not very accommodating or understanding that there are littles to be picked up from school but acknowledges that it states to come after 3 on my work order I have the recorded conversation, anyone that handles business this way and customer service does not deserve to be in business.

There services have been used by me for several years. I am a Property Manager and Realtor and wouldn't use anyone else. They are reliable, punctual, do a great job and their cost is very reasonable. Really appreciate having them available to me

Thank you Christina. Its nice to get positive feedback.

Job was incomplete left huge holes in the wall and did not notify me stopped my house from closing. Inspector asked which kindergartener did the repair would love to send a photo When asked for them to do something the secretary said well if he fixed the damage he did it would of cost more. I said I think he gave me the entire bill by charging me to fix the problem in the first place they also refused to let me speak to a supervisor

In our 31 years in Phoenix we have never experienced such a horrible experience with a service company. Country Wide Proserv was the company assigned on 2/27/19 by American Home Shield to handle our refrigerator repair. The technician came to our home on 2/28/19 and told us the refrigerator would require a new control panel, which would take a week to arrive. On 3/7/19 I followed up because I had not heard from Country Wide Proserv. When they did not return my call, I called American Home Shield. They told me the part was delivered to Country Wide Proserv on Wednesday, 3/6/19. When Country Wide called me back on 3/8/19, they said they had not received the part and they would have to wait to hear from the tech to see if the part had been delivered to his home. Now 11 days later, we still don't have a refrigerator! I talked to the Country Wide scheduler this morning and she said she could not do anything until she heard from the tech to see if he had received the part. I called the tech and left him a voice message and he never called me back after 2 calls. I, also, called American Home Shield again to speak to a supervisor and one was supposed to call me back. It's been five hours and I have, still, not received a callback. It has been terrible frustrating and inconvenient to be without a refrigerator so long and to have to deal with a company that does not seem to care one bit out customer service.

I understand the repair cannot be completed without the part. However, AHS has told me the correct part was delivered to the tech on3/6/19. Countrywide denies this and they continue to be unresponsive to my inquiries. I have, also, called the techto no avail. They are not being truthful, as well.
Thank you

this company appears to have an office in Gilbert AZ but I am not sure this is the same company
this company has no published address
this company has no web the websites go to other people's web
this company has no email
their phone numbers are not available on your phone - comes in as unlisted number and they say that they are with vonage to save money what kind of a company does business like that
their people sirly and hung up on me
there is no Revdex.com showing for them
they are supposedly being hired out by *** who is more than difficult to deal with
I am in Scottsdale AZ and have an appointment with them but so far I rate them worse than a 0 and I am concerned for them to come into my house are they safe and reliable

Shady service tech practices / shady service tech sales tactics.
Sam with Proserv came out to our house to fix our hot water heater via our home warranty service. Upon inspecting our hot water heater leak Sam told my wife that the "lower pipes coming out of the hot water heater were not covered by our home warranty." Sam then went on to say that "he could fix the problem for $250 and if we said yes right then he could knock the price down to $225." At that time my wife called our home warranty company and put them on the phone with Sam. They informed Sam that the pipes and all other parts were indeed covered by our warranty. Sam then fixed the leaking pipe and left. The next day our hot water recirculating pump stopped working. At that time we called back Proserv and they said Sam would be back out the next day between 3 - 5pm. Sam ended up coming out the following day at 1pm with no prior notice while we were not home. Later that day when Sam never showed up we called Proserv to follow up and were told that Sam had already been by earlier that day at 1pm and we were not home and that "they were not coming back out." We then called our home warranty company and tried to get a different plumber to come out. At that time our home warranty company informed us that per Sam and Proserv's report, our "hot water recirculating pump was an after market part" and was therefore not covered. After spending over 5 hours on the phone with the home warranty company and after 7 days we were told by a manager with our home warranty company that our hot water recirculating pump was indeed covered and that Sam and Proserv should have never said it wasn't. The home warranty company also said that they do not even use the term "after market part" anywhere in their contract and Sam should have never said it was not covered. In addition, Sam talked my wife into paying $25 to replace a shut off valve that was not broken because he said it "was getting corroded and looked like it was going to break soon." Sam lied to us and tried to get us to pay over $200 for something that was covered by our home warranty company.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the $75 service call fee and the $25 charge for the shut off valve that was not even broken.

For clarity purposes I will cut and paste their case description and try to answer as clear as possible...

Shady service tech practices / shady service tech sales tactics.

If giving people options and letting them choose is "Sales Tactics," then I agree. Calling the tech or the company shady is not fair...

Should probably avoid quoting the technician with second hand information from your wife. The truth of the matter is a Recirculating Pump is a luxury item. It is meant to speed up the process for hot water to reach areas far from the heater. When Sam called the warranty company about the recirculation pump they asked what it was. After he explained the authorizer told him it was not covered because it is an upgrade/luxory item. The warranty company is our client and you are theirs. Because they are our client we tell them what is needed and they tell us whether they are willing to pay us to complete the work. We have no motivation to deny when by covering we would make more money.

The next day our hot water recirculating pump stopped working. At that time we called back Proserv and they said Sam would be back out the next day between 3 - 5pm. Sam ended up coming out the following day at 1pm with no prior notice while we were not home. We do not make this decision, the authorizer does. Sounds like to me the warranty company was oiling the squicky wheel.

The home warranty company also said that they do not even use the term "after market part" anywhere in their contract and Sam should have never said it was not covered. In addition, Sam talked my wife into paying $25 to replace a shut off valve that was not broken because he said it "was getting corroded and looked like it was going to break soon.

It is not an after market part it is an upgrade to the water heater system. It is not necessary to the function of the water heater. We only call things in and give them our diagnosis, after this they tell us what to do. Also, about the $25 part... He did this as a courtesy. Do you think we make money on a $25 job? No good deed goes unpunished. If the valve was rusted then you made a good decision to replace it. This is the problem with our world. Nobody wants to take responsibility for their choices. I'm sure all the technician did was tell you it was a good idea. At that point you can say "no" or "yes."

" Sam lied to us and tried to get us to pay over $200 for something that was covered by our home warranty company.

Nobody lied... As I have said many times in this response. We do not deny anything. We call in to our client and do what they tell us to...

The issue of the recirculating pump did not come up until the next day. The first time Sam came out he looked at the leaking pipes and stated that the "lower pipes" coming out of the hot water heater were not covered and only the "upper pipes were". He then went on to state that he could fix the lower pipes for "$250 but could give us a deal right then for $225." Sam did not call this in to the warranty company. Sam tried to get us to pay the $225 because he was certain that the lower pipes were not covered. We called the warranty while Sam was there and had them talk to Sam to TELL him that ALL the pipes were covered.

This is not second hand quoting because my wife called me while Sam was there and had me on speaker phone the whole time. I heard Sam with my own two ears say that "the lower pipes were not covered." That's when my wife decided to call the warranty company to get them to tell Sam that ALL the pipes were indeed covered. So yes I view this as a bit shady. If we had not decided to call the home warranty company while Sam was there, Sam would ha e been happy to collect our $225 and fix the pipes that were actually covered.

The issue with the recirculating pump did not even come up until the next day. The recirculating pump is specifically listed as a covered part under the Plumbing section of the home warranty. Luxury item and after market part has noting to do with anything. It is specifically listed as a covered item. Perhaps you should read the home warranty contract you are hired to represent. It's only 20 pages. In fact the pluming section is only one paragraph and the hot water heater section is also only one paragraph. Perhaps you should read them both and give honest and informed opinions in the future vs uninformed and incorrect ones.

You honestly mean to tell me that you don't know that the home warranty covers the hot water heater "and all parts" except for "holding or storage tanks, flues and vents, fuel storage tanks and solar equipment." So tell me where does it say that "upper pipes are covered but not lower ones"? Again I heard Sam say this myself and it's not second hand as you put it.
READ THE CONTRACT and stop your techs from telling people incorrect things.

Do you honestly think I really care about the $100? You did fix the leaking pipe and we are appreciative of that. The problem is that 1.) We called the home warranty company and told them the pipes coming out of the hot water heater were leaking. 2.) They approved the claim and dispatched your company. Sam came out, took one look at the pipe and said it wasn't covered and that it would be $250 to fix it. 3.) We then called the home warranty company again, while Sam was there, and had them speak to Sam to explain to him that ALL the pipes were covered. 4.) It was only after all of this that Sam fixed the pipes. This is what I have an issue with. As you stated, we are people too. We too have families and mouths to feed. I think it is YOU that forget that when you send a tech like Sam out to fix something that YOU KNOW is covered under our warranty but you try and lie to a woman and say it isn't and charge 3 times what our warranty service fee is to fix it! That is why I filed a complaint with the Revdex.com. I do not want the $100 back. I want you to admit your tech is dishonest and I want you to stop trying to take advantage of people, especially women. How much you want to bet Sam would never have tried that if I was there speaking to him face to face. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You think I am making this up to try and get back the $100!? I have a home warranty company so I don't have to deal with this ***. I have a home warranty because it covers things like this. But then I get a tech like Sam who tries to take advantage of me. So when someone tries to take advantage of me then yes I fight back and the Revdex.com is the best way to do that and to stop you from doing it to other people because the next time it will probably be some little old lady that Sam tries to take advantage of. But hey, Sam has a family to feed so I guess it's ok. Because you refuse to admit this shady business practice I will now be filing a complaint with the *** Contractors Board.

Country Wide Proserv Response

You are saying Sam was dishonest and I am saying it was a misunderstanding. The pipe in question is connected to your recirculation pump which are normally not covered because they are an add on product. Sam was not trying to be dishonest. He may have been wrong but he was not trying to be dishonest.

If you are trying to negatively effect my business and my family over a misunderstanding I to will fight back... I will sue you for defamation...

Pay close attention Sam was not being dishonest!!

You want me to admit it to make you go away. Your right Sam is dishonest and I am going to fire him because you believe he is dishonest. I hope he can still provide for his 5 kids and his new house he just bought...

What are you trying to accomplish? Do you want your money back or do you want me to say you are right that Sam is a bad person and tries to rip people off????

WARNING!!!!DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
My AC broke and my warranty chose them to do the service. These people are unprofessional, VERY disorganized and flake. After the first appointment they were supposed to contact the warranty letting them know what was wrong with my AC. They did not disclose everything making the process longer. They were supposed to come back to measure the unit in the house and the contractor flaked 3 appointments. No call and no show!!! The technician was very disrespectful and heartless about the situation. Ten days after and I still didn't have AC. Do Not use these people!!! Waste of time!!!
