I am responding to the complaint submitted to your office My no refund policy on deposits for pups is honored if no pups are available in the gender specified The complainant stated that they would like a pup from either gender, as well as a pup from future litters The litter, in which the deposit was made, produced live females and live male pups The complainant had 4th pick of females and 3rd pick of males Unfortunately, there were not enough females, however, there were enough males, and enough for there to be a selection to choose fromThe complainant then stated a female from the next litter would be acceptable A spot was reserved for them for the next litter The complainant had another change of mind, requesting to wait until after their current dog had passedRefunds do no expire, and that was noted Numerous litters and options were given to the complainant in regards to the current litter at the time, as well as future litters Spaces were reserved for them, which preventing others to fill those spots at that time.This is the reason for a deposit and why they are not refundable, with the exception of a pup not being available in the gender selectedRefunds are not given for a change of mind The complainant stated the policy was understood, that they had changed their mind, and would like a refund based upon their changing their mind, and not because there were not any pups produced for them.I have included both emails (because some emails are sent as a group, there are parties responses included that are not part of this particular situation Please disregard them) and a voicemail from the complainant verifying their choice of gender in both pups, as well as verification of the customer stating they understand my policies, yet would like me to go against the policy due to a change of mind on their partPlease let me know if you need further information regarding this situationRegards, [redacted] ***
