The situation is not resolved. I have not been contacted by anyone from Country Financial. I original position is the same-I do not want to pay ant additional premiums for a motorcycle that Country Financial is no longer insuring. I am rejecting this response because:
Mr. [redacted] with County Financial has sent a letter...
explaining that they don't feel responsible for the stop payment that cost $35. He has claimed that the bank would not allow the cancellation of the automatic withdrawal in the 3 days they were given to stop it. In fact, it was completely up to Country Financial to cancel the withdrawal, my bank was helpless to stop the process unless cancelled by Country Financial. That was told to me by the vice president of the bank where I have an account. So when Country Financial was told to cancel my policy on Thursday, they had until Monday to cancel out my account, my policy, and the automatic withdrawal. They chose to hold out to attempt to withdraw the money, and when they were stopped by my stop payment, they were effectively trying to steal money from my account. When will consumers have control of their own money? Why do I have to pay my own bank to stop a payment from being made 4 days in the future? In what world am I in the wrong and it's ok for a company to steal money from me? Mr. Lowe says I signed an agreement stating these facts. I'm for the record, saying I didn't sign anything to the affect of allowing Country Financial to take money from my account if I cancelled my policy and the electronic withdraw process. I still feel Country Financial owes me $35 for the stop payment fee, and for the time and effort AND STRESS caused by Country Financial.....thousands. This company, like most others, does not care about consumers.
We are aware of Mr. [redacted] situation and are working on his request. We will contact him with resolution.
I am rejecting this response because:
I asked the company not to contact me anymore with their lies. I actually recorded the conversations between myself and their employees to prove they are a bunch of liar but my husband does not want to sue country financial only the contractor but thank for your assistance..
We received notice of this complaint for the first time on 12/28/2016 by mail. It was mailed to our home office, but addressed to the incorrect agent. There is no email link provided. We discussed this matter with our insured on 12/27/2016, and I will be sending them a written explanation as well....
