I apologize for any misunderstandings Insurance companies sometimes pay less than anticipated and although we try our best to get insurance companies to pay they sometimes dont We tried for almost a year fighting with the insurabce company in this case We are in network with almost all Blue Cross Dental plans but that still does not guarantee payment and plans that are medical in nature we are not considered preferred providers withThis persons Blue Cross plan provided only basic dental benefits and the services provided were considered non covered services We did still feel bad for the patient and provided a credit in the amount of almost $as an act of good faith and asked them to pay the balance which they ultimately did Once again we are sorry but it is equally as frustrating for us at times dealing with insurance companies whom we cannot controlI know it still must have been a lot of money for them to pay and we are sorry things worked out the way they did
