THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS! My daughter's aunt bought her a Christmas gift at a CottonOn store and I've wasted hours on phone and email trying to exchange it. Her aunt went to the store because we asked for a cotton sweater, and she figured with a name like Cotton-On they would have cotton. Well, the sweater is acrylic, but that fact was buried on a tag with tiny writing in the side seam. We wanted to exchange it because it didn't fit, plus she doesn't like wearing acrylic. So I emailed the company from their website because we live in Oregon and there are no stores in our whole state. I was told we could not exchange it online because it was purchased in a store. Then I got a customer service survey by email and said I was dissatisfied, so someone named Kelly in Australia started emailing me. She promised to have someone in the USA figure out a way to exchange it. That person ([redacted]) called once but I was not home. I called back and left a voice message. No reply. Called again on about 5 different occasions and kept getting a message that her mailbox was full. So I emailed the gal in Australia several more times and she kept promising to get the USA person to deal with it, but still no contact from her weeks later. I tried to email the USA person and got email back undeliverable. During this process I found out they only offer refunds for 7 days if you have the receipt and take it back to the store, even for holiday gifts! And 14 days exchange if you take it back to the store. I've given up and am taking the sweater to a consignment store or donating it to charity.
