Review: According to the [redacted] adjuster who visited as well as a forensic investigator hired to assess the stucco damage to my home, it was determined that the stucco damage was a direct result of "improper installation" by the general contractor, [redacted]. I immediately contacted [redacted] for his assistance in facilitating the necessary repairs to the stucco and after several email attempts; he informed that he would visit the property with his stucco guy, [redacted] of [redacted]. [redacted] and [redacted] visited the property together in late 2011, after which [redacted] provided a quote to repair the damage on 10/18/2011. I was again reassured by both [redacted] and [redacted] that they would repair the damage, but was later informed that since they were very busy and cold weather was upon us, they would be unable to complete the work in 2011. [redacted] guaranteed the work would be completed the moment the weather warmed up the following March 3/2012. After repeated calls to [redacted] throughout 2012 and excuse after excuse, the work has yet to be started. I have called, emailed and texted [redacted] over a dozen times since 11/2012 and have not gotten a response.Desired Settlement: [redacted] honors his agreement to facilitate repair of the defective stucco

Response:
I was called out to [redacted] the home was built in 1999. There was obvious signs of lack of owner maintance and storm damage to this property from what we felt was a ice dam above the questioned area. We presented [redacted] with a quote to repair and he felt that we should be finically responsible for the ongoing maintenance to a home that is now in its third owner and 12 years old. There were obvious signs of broken moldings due to storm damage not repaired allowing water to breach exterior finish system. Most all caulk joints were also deteriorated and also allowing moister behind the system.
