The Complainant's divorce required extensive review of financial documents, negotiation of custody and visitation orders, resolution of financial disputes and several court appearances in front of a judge The Complainant was fully informed throughout the process of all of the work performed on her case and the charges for the work completed Indeed, monthly statements were sent out throughout the process without any objection to the entries by the Complainant The duration of time we represented the Complainant from initial retainer of our firm to the entry of judgment by the court was far longer than stated in the complaint In short, the Complainant is now trying to avoid her obligations under a valid contract she entered into The Complainant has paid far less than what she claims in her complaint Despite all of the above, we are more than willing to discuss a discount or credit on the total amount owed It is our hope that the Complainant and her children are in a better place as a result of all of the work we performed We in no way wish to burden her with a bill she cannot afford to pay in full
