According to the original Repair Order (when Ms [redacted] dropped off the car) customer stated "vehicle will move in Drive" At the time we advised her there was a recall on the torque converter but that's unlikely the fix for the issue she is experiencing and we quoted her some costs for diagnosticsShe stated she doesn't have money and asked us to perform the recall before giving us an authorization to tear down the transmissionDuring the complementary inspection we discovered there was rust on the dipstick....this is a sign of further issues, we tried to explain even though the dealer who sold her a car replaced the fluids it still didn't fix the issueSomething in the transmission is causing a moisture to get in and corrosion to formIt's just a matter of time the corroded particles "shake free" and plug up hydraulic lines, which in turn will cause the issues with shifting or taking offMs [redacted] got upset we made this call without tearing down the transmission and she felt we just tried to sell her on rebuilding the transmissionIn the meantime one of the sales manager got involved trying to help her get a different car, unfortunately her financial situation wouldn't allow itWe tried to explain there were visible issues with the car and signs of neglect, several bolts were rusted and there was a very little signs of maintenance on the carDuring this time we had Ms [redacted] driving one of our rental vehicles at no charge because of her needing transportation needs to help out a family memberNow her complaint is the vehicle has no engine fluids but there is no signs of oil on the drive wayThis is very common, the engine oil gets burned offThere may not be any external leaks but it doesn't mean the oil is not leaking in to the combustion chamberAfter looking at all of the documents there isn't any indication of any wrongdoing, especially for the fact we never did any work on the engineI understand she is upset and disappointed but her issue should be with the dealer that sold her this carI would ask Ms [redacted] to provide any maintenance records on this vehicle...I doubt there will be any

From: [redacted] Sent: Friday, March 24, 7:PMSubject: Regarding Earlier Complaint for Corwin Ford Tri Cities WAHi there, I just wanted to give an update of my complaintMy bill ended up being about 150$ less than what I was quotedAlthough I feel that I was extremely over charged for their services, and still believe them to be entirely unprofessionalI do realize that it is a dealership, and the prices are going to be quite outrageous for repairs there [redacted] ** [redacted]

We ordered this vehicle for ***'s father *** couldn't obtain financing on his own so *** was his co-signerWe did all paperwork and let them have the truckOnce the bank got all the paperwork they noticed the SSN did not match because Guadelupe has an I-not a Social Security
Card, the bank reversed the approval and according to the state law I had to notify *** that the deal is cancelledHe was responsible to return the truck and we would return his down paymentHe did not respond to our calls and attempts to contact himOnce we got in touch with *** he asked for more time to get financing elsewhere, we asked to bring the truck while he's trying to get an approvalHe didn't respond, instead he had his friend call on his behalf and threaten me with layers and Ford Motor CompanyI finally got a hold of his son *** on Saturday and we agreed he would bring the truck back on Saturday by 4PM and I would hold the truck for a few days while he's trying to get a loanHe never returned the truck on Saturday but instead sent me a text that he spoke with AG office and they told him to keep the truckThis was a lie because the AG office isn't opened on SaturdaysAt this point I contacted *** and *** and explained I am contacting the PoliceWith the assistance and an advice of the Pasco and Moses Lake Police department we repossessed the truckAt this point I wish not to conduct any business with the *** family

Money was refunded to the customer as we were able to re-sell the vehicle he ordered

According to the original Repair Order (when Ms [redacted] dropped off the car) customer stated "vehicle will move in Drive" At the time we advised her there was a recall on the torque converter but that's unlikely the fix for the issue she is experiencing and we quoted her some...

costs for diagnostics. She stated she doesn't have money and asked us to perform the recall before giving us an authorization to tear down the transmission. During the complementary inspection we discovered there was rust on the dipstick....this is a sign of further issues, we tried to explain even though the dealer who sold her a car replaced the fluids it still didn't fix the issue. Something in the transmission is causing a moisture to get in and corrosion to form. It's just a matter of time the corroded particles "shake free" and plug up hydraulic lines, which in turn will cause the issues with shifting or taking off. Ms [redacted] got upset we made this call without tearing down the transmission and she felt we just tried to sell her on rebuilding the transmission. In the meantime one of the sales manager got involved trying to help her get a different car, unfortunately her financial situation wouldn't allow it. We tried to explain there were visible issues with the car and signs of neglect, several bolts were rusted and there was a very little signs of maintenance on the car. During this time we had Ms [redacted] driving one of our rental vehicles at no charge because of her needing transportation needs to help out a family member. Now her complaint is the vehicle has no engine fluids but there is no signs of oil on the drive way. This is very common, the engine oil gets burned off. There may not be any external leaks but it doesn't mean the oil is not leaking in to the combustion chamber. After looking at all of the documents there isn't any indication of any wrongdoing, especially for the fact we never did any work on the engine. I understand she is upset and disappointed but her issue should be with the dealer that sold her this car. I would ask Ms [redacted] to provide any maintenance records on this vehicle...I doubt there will be any
