I would like to respond to letter sent to Revdex.com regarding complaint of id.no.#***I very much regret that the vehicle broke down after repairsI explained to customer that I added oil to vehicle and oil additive which I regretfully did not document or charge for.After the fact I do believe the
reason the vehicles catalyst was plugged was from oil consumptionWhen said vehcile was brought back it had no oil on dipstick againNo external leaksAs well as a very loud engine knock which it did not have when left shopI personally drove vehicle before and after repairsRan well for high mileage vehicleI gave customer option of repairsThey asked for my advise and I stated I could not make that decsion for themI never had the option of discussing any reimbursments for labor when the vehicle was picked upI feel this shop did a good repairThis new problem I think occured because the car was able to accelerate after the repair and caused damage because of continual low oil conditions, which we have no control overI would be happy to reimburse labor but cannot refund partsThank youCortez Auto Repair
