Regards,
** *** We did have Cornerstone come to our homeNot once did they say it could be from OVER cleaningFor them to mention my cleaning lady is ridiculous since she comes once a month We showed *** the owner what we used to cleanIt's exactly what he suggest on his *** of sale/receipt One of the main problems cornerstone has is also communication It will be weeks before we hear from them even after I email, text and callI would love for a 3rd party to come out and look at counter tops but the way I've been dealt with with cornerstone I would like to contact the party myselfTrust issues have fell through the cracks with this company on how they are dealing with this situation His employee personally said he had never seen this type of staining in years while working for *** if this was such a UNIQUE issue then cornerstone should definitely want to take care of the situation This isn't our only home we have others and we have had stone counters and never have we had this type of staining I hold cornerstone responsible Thank you
Revdex.com, We have looked at the countertop in question and acknowledge that there is a problem with the stone We have attempted to remedy the discoloration by applying stain removers and even heat, in case the issue is moisture Neither method has
been successful This is a stone that we use frequently and have never had problems with beforeSo we are attempting to find out what actually caused the problem It should be noted that the customers do have a cleaning person and that the discolorations are only found in high use areas Any type of caustic cleaning product can remove the sealer and make the stone penetrable by grease ect Even everyday dish soap, when used repeatedly in a high concentration, can soak though the sealer and creat a stain If the problem lies with the stone itself we will be happy to replace it However, since the spots have become worse over a six month period, improper cleaning could likely be the issue We would hate to replace the counter only to have the problem reoccur We would like pay for a third party expert to examine the stone and determine the causeWe would then attempt to recreate the spots to prevent the same type of damage on future countertops
In follow up to the complaint, Cornerstone Remodeling contacted the customer, set up an appointment, and a new shelf was constructed and installed All work has been completed. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if you should require additional information. Thank you,***
