Failure to apply payments to correct category in account resulting in payments being "61-Days Late" While paying the bills for my grandmother, of whom I have Power of Attorney, I have received separate bills from this doctors office (Everyone else has managed to get all of their billing done in bill, including hospital, but this doctors office doesn't appear to be on top of things) I have paid ALL bills on time but after sending in a check for $14.37, it took almost weeks for Cornerstone to deposit the check During this time of failing to deposit check, they managed to find more to charge my grandmother When they finally got around to depositing the check, they did NOT apply it to the item that it was written for but instead applied it to the new bill By doing so, it showed that the item that was for $was late at 61-days By using this type of business practice, the Cornerstone Physicians Group could easily end up charging customers (Especially those w
The physician has sent me a bill for $ He did NOT see me in the emergency room I have an email from the billing department finally admitting this The clerk said they have to do a diagnosis to send a bill, they have have to bill since they did a diagnosis What'??'? Then they offered to give me a discount I did not need a diagnosis, I only used the services of the hospital under the directions of another physician Thank you
This companies billing practices are greatly lacking Despite insurance, they are seeking the full billed amount from me when they owe me a refund
My daughter was treated by the Cornerstone group who manages the ER at *** Regional Medical Center on October 28, When I received the bill for their services, I was charged the full amount of the service, and not the contractual amount from my insurance coverage I paid the full amount, $588.00, and have not received a refund for the amount my insurance contracted with the groupI contacted the billing department on separate occasionsEach time I was told they would refund my overpayment to my health savings account and I would hear from them via email with a $bill After months of fighting this, they sent me to collections when they owe me a refund I have spoken times to the collections company and they have informed me Cornerstone has not even read my original complaint It has been a year since my daughters visit
