I needed the sleeves shortened on three dress shirts
The gentlemen who took my measurements seemed to know what he was doing, and understood what I told him how I wanted the sleeves done Instead of merely removing the cuffs and shortening the sleeves then reattaching the cuffs, I wanted the entire placket removed and moved up
By not shortening the plackets, the wearer may still roll up his sleeves
He told me this would cost more, and I said I understood -- I've had many shirts altered in just this manner, and I don't mind paying extra He also told me he would contact me after he spoke with the alterations lady, and quote me a price
He never got back to me When I called a couple weeks later to see what was going on, they had already shortened the sleeves -- in exactly the way we had agreed they would NOT do
