I am filing a complaint due to Cordova Christian Academy refusing to refund a $75.00 hold fee and it was not disclosed the fee was not refundable. I am filing a complaint due to Cordova Christian Academy refusing to refund a $75.00 hold fee and it was not disclosed the fee was not refundable. All communication I received requesting the $75.00 hold fee for next school was done by email. The emails do not state the hold fee is nonrefundable. When I paid the $75.00 I did not sign anything acknowledging this fee is nonrefundable nor did I receive a letter stating the fee is nonrefundable. Desired SettlementI would like my $75.00 fee refunded since my daughter will not be attended Cordova Christian in the fall and I did receive any communication that the fee was nonrefundable. Business Response The parent was never told that a refund would not be given. However, the parent was told that we would need to further investigate as our student application and enrollment agreement state that the registration fee is non-refundable. She was notify the following day that we would be refunding her the registration fee. As it is our wish to provide excellent customer service. This customer has received her refund from our home office.
