Review: approximately June 2014 I received a letter from CERTAINTEED company telling me that the roofing shingles installed on my roof in April 2010 may be defective and refunds were being issued. they also said to send a sample shingle a photo and the number of shingles and a copy of the roofers completed contract as proof of installation. I complied with all of the requests. I received a letter back from them stating that they wanted an actual sample from the roof that they wanted either me or a contractor to get an actual sample from my roof and they needed a true count on the number of shingles. I told them there was NO way that I or any one else will break the seal of the new shingle and why were the samples of leftover shingles not good enough that I sent. because my roof is 4 different levels and I gave them all the measurements I told them to figure out how many tiles were there. since I complied with all of there initial requests I will not do any further work since the have all the proof they need to resolve this as far as their material used.Desired Settlement: if a recall on the material has been issued A FULL REFUND ON THE PURCHASE PRICE AND INSTALLATION PAID. IS WHAT I EXPECT TO BE PAID
