Dear Boston Business Bureau, Good day My name is [redacted] A [redacted] and I am the owner of Cooking Vacations Italy.www.Cooking-Vacations.com We are a culinary tour company.I cannot get on your site, however I am writing my response to Ms [redacted] & [redacted] who reserved (2) Tailor-Made Genova ~ Day, May - May 7, 2017-along with her travel agent in copy After reserving she demanded a full credit back stating she had fallen and could not travel to Italy for her dates because she had hurt herself We asked her if she had travel insurance and she said she did not but did ask if we had cooking classes in Venice.I said yes She proceeded to ask for change because “she preferred Venice over Genova.” I referred her to our Terms & Agreement - attached which is very clear, there are no credits or monies back for any cancelations.Once we make a promise to our clients that we have availability - we make a promise to our chefs (hotels, drivers, and so on and they are paid for the guest’s place) We do not offer refunds because it is too costly to undo conversions, taxes paid in both the USA and Italy and bank wire fees

I had asked for Venice because it was days later, however upon checking w my orthopeadic physician and other Dr's I was told my recovery is not 3-weeks but 6-weeks at best I had extinuating circumstances, and when I asked ***, if the CHEF got sick since she had paid him ahead of time, what does she do, she proceeded to say we hire another chef, then I said "what about the money you paid the original chef" and her replay was "I cannot continue to discuss this" and she proceeded to threaten me with legal if I continue to communicate with her I would have been happy w a 50% refund, but *** would not accept any refund suggestions This is not a way to handle business, airlines, hotels, they all give partial or full refund I will have my legal staff (we do have a business) contact her, as she would not let me discuss anything w her legal staff
Regards,

WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS IT THAT DOES NOT ALLOW FOR MATURE AND ACCIDENTS REFUNDS...... UNREALISTIC AND INCOMPREHENSIBLE.... Revdex.com SHOULD ENCOURAGE NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH SUCH AN ENTITY... THEY SHOULD NOT BELONG TO BETTER (NOT BETTER) BUSINESS (WHAT KIND OF INCONSIDERATE BUSINESS) BUREAU (ONE PERSON OWNS AND IS A CONTROLLING AND NOT ONLY UNREASONABLE BUT A BAD BUSINESS)
