Cooking Club of America Reviews (7)

I paid for my "Lifetime" membership and haven't received a thing in many, many months - no cooking magazine, no products to sample I see many complaints on the Internet I am sorry I got involved with this organization They appear to be a sham company

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Cooking Club Of America regarding complaint ID ***.Sincerely,*** ***

Review: Well their Advertising that you will receive a pots and pans set for being a life time member then you sign up and then you realize that you get the pots and pan after you actually pay over the months for them. I haven't received them to try but now I am receiving bills for $297. for a couple magazines. I cancelled this right after I realized what was going on......Now they have my bill at a credit bureau thinking they are going to ruin my credit. I do not just give money away for nothing. I do not owe this and if I do want to know who is getting the money and a itemized list for what I am paying. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Take the bill out of the credit bureau and settling,

Review: I'm a "LIFETIME" member with this organization (since 2012) after paying close to $400 and was prepare to receive a myriad of benefits with such membership. All I received was an introduction "gift" of some cookingware along with a magazine dated Spring 2012. since then "NOTHING". Cannot contact them nor do they respond to emails. I am not alone in this situation as seen in the following link: [redacted]Desired Settlement: Full Refund

Review: I received an information about signing up for this program, that offered free products just for testing cookware, cooking items. In this *membership* they would also send recipes, along with a $100 grocery card/voucher and magazines. I have received magazines. I never received a testing product, or the grocery card/voucher. I have called and requested my services or lack of to cease as the company did not provide what was promised. Each time I've called with my membership # [redacted], they can't locate me. It never fails, less than a week after my two complaints, I receive a notice or spam mail from cooking club. I paid for a product/service and never fully received what was promised.Desired Settlement: I would like what was promised to me, the grocery voucher along with the testing products. If this can't happen, a full refund of my membership charges that were paid, along with removing me from any future contacts or selling my information as they have.

Sincerely,

Review: When I subscribed to the magazine/club, it was indicated that a refund would be given on remaining issues if I was not satisfied if I was not satisfied.. I contacted them in May because I was unsatisfied because at the time I subscribed there were 6 issues/yr, and now that has changed to four/yr. They responded that they could not give a refund past the first yr (I signed up for a 4 yr subscription/membership), but they cancelled my subscription/membership anyway. I responded telling them that if they weren't going to issue a refund that I would like my subscription/membership reinstated, they agreed. As of today, I still have not received any magazine issues and my online account still shows up as "Expired". I cannot find a phone number anywhere on the website.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on all remaining issues from the time of my original request in May.

Review: When you join their club they were to send a grater and a $100.00 gift certificate for groceries. It is still on their sight that I am to receive this I received the grater but they are telling me they will send me a cheap apron instead of the $100.00 gift certificate.Desired Settlement: I want them to honor their own website add. I have complained to them that this is bait and switch and they don't care. They are hoping I will go away and I will not. It is false advertising and a cheap apron is not an equivalent to the $100.00 gift card. I have sent in another complaint to you for their billing tactics they are trying to get me to send them more money. I am very frustrated and they just have no willingness to work with me.
