Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2016/01/06) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @gmail.com We take customers responses very seriousAnd we take the old fashion posture that the customer is always right So when the client was complaining about the card being billed right away we always offer a discount , adjustment etc To keep the client happy In this case nothing I could do to work out a peaceful settlement Here are the facts that lead up to this miss hap We just signed up Pay Pal as our credit card and billing service However to my misfortune we found out after the fact that Pay Pal offers three different levels of clearing service 1) personal person taking bank info and Cc cards 2) personal "Buiness" cards service 3) pro Merchant bank and CC card service To my mistake we signed up for the personal and not the pro merchant that would allow us to do s check out like a hotel them run the card the day of or day before as presented to the customerWell we can see how he would of been upset but to be felt that miss lead is a little over killHowever I truly understand and we feel his emotionsI do admit I was a little over zealous in letting him know all the options that was made avail to him and I did the classic "I assumed" we could offer that at the lower level It's worth it to us to offer a free tour or monetary discount to make a customer happyIn the endThis time my thinking back firedWe hope this clears Up any questions and to wish Mr Doughtry an invite back to give us anotherTry Thank you [redacted] Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 7, 2016/01/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
