Consumer Opinion Services recruited [redacted] to
participate in a market research project. 
She was asked to do the following:
To participate in an on-line journal which involved logging into the on-line
journal each day for 3 days and
answering questions about her appliances and...

home.  In addition, she was asked to upload videos
and photos.  She was to log in on August
17th, 18th & 19th.  For this portion she was to be paid $100.
She did not complete this
portion.   She did not log into the
on-line journal at all.   
As a last resort - The client then
asked her to send us an e-mail of a description of herself and appliances and send
some pictures.   She did this to a small
degree.
The second part of the study she was asked to
complete an in-home/shop along interview which consisted of being interviewed
in her home for 75 minutes about her appliances and then to go to shop an
appliance store for another 60 minutes.  For
this part she was to be paid an additional $150.
She did not complete this portion
of the project either.  She had other
things to do and could not do the in-home/shop along interview.
As a last resort she was asked to
come to the store to do the in-store portion 
- she did come to the store but could only stay for 20 minutes and left.
Because she did not complete the interview as she was
originally asked to do and which she agreed to do and because her input of what
she did do was so minimal compared to what she was expected to do the client only
wanted her paid the $50.
