On July 10th 2017 I paid $589.00 to the Centre for Small Business Financing for a username and password to access an online database where I could view information and get access to available business grants and loans. I was told I would always have access to this service and that if I got accepted for funding I would get the money back. Because of health issues I had to step back from this service but recently signed in and realized they were gone out of business. My option to get a loan and my money back is now not an option through the service, I feel that I should have my money refunded.
Thanks
Because my option to get a loan and my money back is now not an option through the service as promised, I feel that I should have my money refunded.
I had talked to this company about helping us with our business. We discussed in deep details of what our business was and the ins and outs. The lady we talked to names *** told us there was tons of funding and we would have no problem getting any. We would have funding in 10 to 15 days after we signed up. WRONG. they charged our credit card at $489.00 and we got all the info. NOT 1 program/ grant were we able to get. I have sent several messages and haven't received a call back or email. I try emailing the lady we were in contact with and her email no longer works. We are a small business and all we want is our funds replaced on our credit card. We don't have money to through away and not get help. This has been going on with no answers since Jan 3
Product_Or_Service: Info to grants
Refund We want our $489 replaced back to credit card
We were contacted by the Entrepreneur Center originally and had decided that we would see how their services could positively help our business in applying for Grants.
While on the phone the representative had mislead us to believe that what we were paying for was a service NOT a product. They had advised us that within 24 hours of signing up there would be a follow up and within 48 hours a Business Advisor would provide us Grants which would pertain specifically to our company.
We never received a follow up email or phone call from any representative. We opened the platform twice briefly to take a look our selves only to realize that the platform has no adequate programs for our company and the platform is only used for redirection.
When we called to asked for a refund a few days after payment, they had told us they cannot refund us and there are no exceptions because it is an online program.
We had also called RBC to back charge the payment and they had advised us to file a complaint here.
The original complaint was made in early November but we don't have access to it.
