We paid for services and unfortunately they never came back with any results, weeks of no response. Still no refund or delivery of the services.
BEWARE - FRAUDULENT COMPANY ALERT - As echoed in the previous reviews, we have had a similar experience with this "firm", and I use that term loosely. In my over 30 years experience in the financial industry and as a Certified Financial Planner, my experience with Consulting Connections, LLC, DBA Retirement Plan Ratings, and with Mr *** our sales representative, has been less than professional. We paid for a service and nothing has been received in return. After courteously asking for our paid for results, and getting little to no communication in return, we are now initiating claims of fraudulent activity against this company. We will be filing formal complaints to the retirement plan institutes as well on this matter. I encourage everyone to do your due diligence before pursuing any relationship with this company.
We would appreciate a full refund. We will not do any further business with this company or its subsidiaries.
We have thousands of happy satisfied customers. This was the third contract this client signed with us. After signing the agreement we started prospecting, spent our resources and even though a contract is signed he feels he could demand his money back. He mentions he wants his paid for results. Delivering that in one week is not realistic. We are a company that delivers quality face-to-face appointments. This client has been in our program for many years and knows the quality of our product. He would not have signed 3 agreements if that was not the case. In addition, he mentions that he had no communication. That is not true. He spoke to his account executive often. Quality appointments take time and patience is needed.
marketing and email issues. Email them to stop and they won't. They will not answer their phones either. I do not believe they are real people.
Company has been notified multiple (over a dozen) times to take me off their marketing email list. Two of their employees have been emailing myself and others in my office and will not stop after repeated pleas to stop. Names of folks emailing are *** and ***. They go under the name retirement plan ratings.
Stop the emails now.
This person has been taken off our mail lists. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I will accept for now and wait and see if this has been resolved. If not I will file another case and take further legal action. Thank you for your assistance!
We have taken this prospect off all mailing lists. We are constantly obtaining new lists of prospects and remove prospects that have requested to be taken off our lists.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept as I have asked nicely multiple times to your "robot" email spammers to take me off your list. If you are going to continue to randomly spam prospective customers you will need to add an unsubscribe button on the bottom of your email signature in order for me to accept or this issue will continue.
Received a cold sales call, said no thank you, and then asked to be removed from list. She said "no, I won't do that you are not the fiduciary."
I received a cold sales call from XXX-XXX-XXXX. The woman on the phone said she was ready to schedule my independent audit of our 401k plan. I said "no thank you, we don't do independent audits." She said "Why not." I said "it doesn't matter, please take us off this call list." She said "No, I won't do that." I said "You have to by law, I said take us off this call list." She said, "I won't do that, you are not the fiduciary." I said "I will report you to the Revdex.com." She said "Go ahead." I called her a not-nice name and hung up. She promptly called back, and I did not pick up the call.
Do not ever call our company again.
My apologies regarding our call to you. Based on your description of the call our caller was too aggressive. They have been spoken to regarding this issue. Your company has been taken off our call list.
They are very aggressive and scare you by mentioning your trustee (in our case Fidelity). They say you MUST have a 338 advisor and are required to have a plan review or risk being in non-compliance with the DOL. They don't make it sound optional. She says no charge. It sounded like a required review. I told her "put your request in writing, specifying exactly why our plan is not in compliance." She said can't do that, I would need to call the DOL and have them do a legal letter. So...bottom line, after much wasted time and research, the whole thing is an unethical attempt to sell your name to a 401k advisor, and these guys get paid for the referrals. DO NOT FALL for this.
RPR failed to deliver services within the specified period of time. Repeated attempts to hold RPR accountable to contractual obligations has failed.
Retirement Plan Ratings is a scam. They promise service and do not deliver! We were solicited by RPR in November of 2017. They are a high pressure phone solicitor promising 401K and retirement referral services. *** is the fast talking, spin doctor and *** is the ring leader of the scam. These guys scam financial companies by promising delivery of companies qualified for retirement plan services. They promise bill you after you have received service but require a credit card to hold. The moment you hang up the phone your card is charged and they never contact you again until you dispute the agreement. If you are lucky the fast talking *** will get on the line and tell you more lies. These guys are genuine ss!
This is a quoted e-mail from *** himself. "I am sorry for any inconvenience we have caused you. If we do not deliver an appointment by 4/1/2018 I will mail you a check for $1,600. Also, if you would like to talk, call me on my cell phone." *** XXX-XXX-XXXX Of course they never delivered the promise or I would not be filing a complaint.
My response is that this client it not being very truthful. As you can see from the emails below which was sent to *** on February 26,2018 and again on March 2, 2018 notifying him that this appointment has been verbally confirmed. An email was sent to us from *** regarding this verbally confirmed appointment, see below.

Dear,
I've received the lead on Services. The lead looks good. They employ over two hundred and eighty staff members in eight counties and expend an annual operating budget in excess of $9.0 million. The plan looks to be $5.5M - $6M. Unfortunately I am not available on March 8th due to a meeting in Florida this week. I have requested rescheduling with your staff. In the meantime I will complete our proposal and move forward with the lead.
Thank you for your assistance in getting things moving forward.

Retirement Plan Ratings was given multiple opportunities to deliver service within the specified time periods which were extended more than once. They have a long history of taking money and not performing any service. We've learned our lesson and hopefully this will serve as a warning to others not to make the same mistake. We do not recommend doing business with this company. I wish we would have done more due diligence on this company. Their past would have told us all we needed to know. BTW, we never got a refund despite a promise from the CEO.
continually calling me and belittling me over the phone. I have asked him to stop calling as I am not interested in his business service.
During a conversation with ***, who tells me that he is the owner of this business, I asked him to stop calling me as I am not interested in his business service. He continued to contact me 2 more times today (2/14/18) after our initial call just to ridicule me. Mr. went so far as to compare me to his "teenage daughter". I told him to stop calling me and that I do not want to speak with him. *** responds back to me by saying-"If you don't want to speak with me then why do you keep answering the phone? Very unprofessional, completely inappropriate, and not an ethical business.
I think that since this business has received 18 complaints over the previous 36 months, that maybe the State of Florida should consider taking action against them. As for my complaint, I do not want this company or anybody associated with this company to contact me ever again! I want no phone calls, emails, text messages, or contact of any kind from this seedy business.

Revdex.com,
I have in fact heard from the person at Consulting Connections, LLC. Within 24 hours of filing my complaint with the Revdex.com, I actually heard back from the same person who I filed the complaint against. He apologized for harassing me over the phone and said it will not happen again. There has been no further contact since.
Have a great day!
***, AIF
Very unscrupulous company. No one there can take the time to return an email or phone message or do what they say they will. Do not trust them.
