Mr C. agreed to do a mobile home inspection for us and charged us $350 to do so. My husband provided him with a 'punch list' of our requirements for the inspection and also spoke with him several times regarding the inspection and how it was to be done. He agreed. He is not a Licensed Inspector, he is a General Contractor. He did not complete the inspection as he said he would. He assured my husband that the mobile home was "solid". At his recommendation, we went ahead and bought the mobile home and had him install all new laminate flooring throughout at the cost to us of $4100. When my husband pulled back some of the skirting on the mobile home, he found big holes by the bottom by the tub, kitchen sink and bedroom which would allow any type of animal/critter to gain access to the home very easily. In addition, the bottom of the mobile home is just about lying on the ground and it is about 2 inches from being level.
