Consolidated Utility District of Rutherford County

Need I say more...the only utility district with higher rates than CRUD is the White House Utility District. These hucksters should be ashamed of themselves!

The CONSOLIDATED UTILITY DISTRICT OF MURFREESBORO TN IS THE BIGGEST BUNCH OF CRIMINALS IN THE STATE OF TENNESSEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband moved into a home July 1st and set up our utility with their office They knowingly set up our account with a known water leak and did not inform us They then billed us for 4x the amount of water, and when we paid and questioned it, they would not refund us our money They basically stole from us and allowed the water leak to continue without telling us They then charged us another astronomical bill and when we refused to pay, they credited a portion of the second bill, but never adjusted the first bill They are continuing to charge us and say they will cut off our water if we do not pay, when we have already paid 4x the amount of one month's bill We should be paid in full for more months They will not listen! My husband went to the monthly board meeting, and they still have not corrected THEIR mistake They are crooks, but they have a monopoly on the water and there are no other providers so they don't care at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Someone needs to do something about this How do I put my money into a trust that they can not touch until they correct my billing statements????????????????
