My Computer/Laptop was making a CLICKING SOUND & Connect you - Replaced the HARD DRIVE
& Installed some Software.
But my Computer/Laptop Hard Drive is still making SOUNDS - ON & OFF through-out the day.
To whom it concerns:
Mr. contacted Connect You at 8:20 PM on a Friday to have us help him with his laptop. He contacted us stating that his hard drive has failed, and he would like a new one installed ASAP. He was very persistent that we get all of the data off of the old drive, but after not being able to, we instructed Mr.k of the cost to replace the HDD with a new SSD. Mr. approved of the repairs and we had the laptop back to Mr. the next day.
We were able to use the computer just fine while setting it up in his home office, which he told us nothing about until we got there. We happily did set it up for free for him.Mr. accused Connect You of stealing his USB dongle for his keyboard/mouse combination. When the technician found the USB dongle next to the computer, plugged into Mr.s USB hub, he apologized for accusing Connect You of theft.
Mr. accused Connect You of not fixing the USB ports on his computer. Connect You told Mr.k that in order for the USB ports to be replaced, the motherboard would have to be replaced. He declined the repair.
Mr.k contacted Connect You to tell us that his USB mouse/keyboard combination did not work. Connect You tried to troubleshoot this problem over the internet, but Mr.k did not like our solutions.
All in all, Mr.k is not satisfied with the work that Connect You did because the work that Mr.k wanted changed every time we talked to the client. We did not even hear about this supposed clicking noise that the laptop has, which was originally the hard drive we took out and replaced. Furthermore, we used the USB ports on the rear right of the laptop without issues for several hours as we were installing software.
We honestly hope that Mr.k gets the help he needs, but he got exactly what he paid Connect You for: a New SSD and New Operating system.
The HARD DRIVE is still making a lot of NOISES!!
SSDs do not have anything inside of them that would make them click.
Thank you.
