Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:
We have done our best to resolve this situation, and accommodate Mr. [redacted] requests, however his complaints and statements are impossible to verify.
If Concrete Visions has done their best to accommodate me, then I would hate to see what their worst accommodations are.
Once [redacted] stopped all work and measured the rock (which seems to be his main source of complaint), we responded in the letter dated 9/8/16 and agreed to meet every request he made, except the soil compaction because that service is not in our scope of work.
The measurement is one of many complaints:
No change of work orders were presented and signed for added work and work that was deleted. If your gather all of Concrete Visions estimates, Concrete Visions seams to favor Line (1). This where all of the price adjustments occur its like the buffet table for Concrete Visions.
Constant changes in what was verbally agreed on.
The fact that Concrete Visions has problems with measuring 2 inches of Base-Rock, and 4 inches of concrete.
Concrete Visions did not agree to all of the items on the letter I wrote on September 5. I wrote in two separate sections that I needed Concrete Visions to remove 2 1/2 inches of soil. Concrete Visions letter dated, 9/8 stated, Concrete Visions will not perform this service. Then they answered the second part of the bullet point with Recompacting soil and so on. On the last estimate sent on 9/9 it was not entered on any line where they were going to remove 2 1/2 inches of soil.
So once again Concrete Visions breached our contract.
However we were not given the chance continue the work, because before we could respond to his requests he hired an un-licensed Concrete contractor, by the name of [redacted] Group, Inc. So there is no way of us resolving or verifying any of [redacted] claims because our work has been covered over by someone else.
You were given multiple chances to correct the problems but you chose to fight us and not comply with our agreements. We agreed upon you removing the upper level of our pool area and you quoted me $3600 that was your quote not mine. I agreed on the price and you started the work. Shortly there after you told me you lost money on that bid since it was more dirt then you expected. Then you attempted to slip into a estimate, (Option: Haul away soil $400 per dump trailer load, final load total to prevail upon completion, due to thinner coping installed & plumbers trenches, increased sq footage on job). I'm sorry but those trenches were also partly yours since you installed some costly drains. For the record this is the typical whiny excuses I would receive from this company, It's always someone else fault and now I'm going to pass the cost of to the consumer. When you called the Contractors License Board On me for a formal investigation you only received half of the information the company that did all of the work had and still has a license. [redacted] Group was the person managing the Job, just Like [redacted] who has the license and [redacted] ran the job. [redacted] would only show up now and then. This was verified through my wife since she is a stay at home mother. We have the information through the licensed contractor that did an amazing job in 8 days and the 3 other contractors that presented me with their estimates and what they needed to repair in order to move the project forward from the work Concrete Visions left behind. I have this information and when we go to court which I'm looking forward to this so I can finally put an end to this madness Concrete Visions will see the binder of information.
The letter we sent will show that we were willing to perform the work just as he wanted, and at the price he suggested. So we are not sure what changed between the time of him sending in his letter of demands, and us responding with our agreement.
On August 24th [redacted] and [redacted] both verified that the amount of sq footage was the original 1140 sqft and the added 429 sqft this was sent to me via a text message from [redacted] the owner along with a total price of $26,225. [redacted] earlier in the day quoted me via a cellular call that the price we were at was 26,175. and the sq footage grew from the original 1140 to 1569 sqft. (since I am a hostage negotiator for my department all of my calls are recorded) So when I wrote my letter on September 5 we were all on the same page with sq footage and price. My letter did not specify sq footage because we all had agreed on the total. When I received the response from Concrete Visions I noticed how quick they were ready to have me sign this new estimate. When I looked at the reconfigured estimate they wanted me to sign, it did not have the added 429 sq feet we had discussed, but Concrete Visions was demanding I pay the $26,125 or else. Once again [redacted] is a crook why should I agree to pay him more and get less. ( I attached these letters and pay close attention to the letters to verify that there was no sq footage written on these letters, but look at the estimate written on 9/9 #1501 you will see; Line (1), Approx 1140 and no where else will you see 429 sqft added to this estimate. That 429 sqft adds up to $4,200.) So Concrete Visions to answer your question I /we got tired of your company trying its best to scam us out of our money, that's what happened
It is our desire to come to the conclusion of this matter, our bottom line is that we were more than willing to perform the work as [redacted] wanted at the price he wanted, and we have documentation of that, but instead he hired someone else to do it and is now
trying to void his signed contract with us.
I did not void any contract that was done early on by your company. Does Concrete Visions really read what they type, It was not my price I'm not the one providing the service, Hello!!!. Concrete Visions has always provided a price and that's what I have been trying to to seek. Whats the true price of the service you have been attempting to provide, because on August 24 we where all on the same page: $26,225 for 1569 total sq footage 1140 originalquote and 429 added sq footage.
Please see attached letter with notations showing our agreement to his requests.
I also attached a full disclosure of all of these letters, I love transparency, its a lot easier to tell the whole truth then try to cover and conceal behind a scam.
Please let us know if there is any additional information you need, we are happy to provide anything we can to get this handled quickly. - Concrete Visions
How about Concrete Visions provide quality service and follow the contract it wrote!!!! That would be a Happy Ending.
Sincerely,[redacted]
