I took my desk top computer to E-man Data Recovery in Snohomish where I have taken it before with great service. They told me 3 to 5 days return. It was a week.
Then Eric E called from ValleyTech, Inc. in Lynnwood called and asked a bunch of questions confusing me and convincing me he had to come out and hook up my computer and there WOULD BE A $35.00 FEE. When E man had it before they put everything back and I picked it up for under $200. Eric came out and did hook it up and gave me some good advise. He left, no volume, so sound. Of course he put an contact app on my computer so I could contact him for $45.00. I called his number and they said the voice mail was full. So of course I would have to use the app at $45.00. He charged me $35.00 travel fee plus $85.00 for the hour he spent here doing what could have been done. I still do not have sound and I deleted his app. I am very upset about being taken in and with E-man for passing this off to Eric of ValleyTech, inc. Eric probably give E-man a cut. I am sure this happened because I am a Senior. Also I tole him on the phone I was 85 and didn't know a bunch about the computer.

I brought in an old computer with a broken screen. I asked what it would cost to fix. Eric E said it would cost $100 plus dollars. At no time did he say the amount I was billed for ($367.08) When I complained about the charge he spun a fantastic yarn that he said something different.
