I cannot tell you how upset we are right now with the service from this storeWe brought in our computer with a blue screen, unable to start upThe owner, Anthony L***, was welcoming and assured me that there would not be any problem in reinstalling Windows He would get it up and runningHe also assured me that we would not lose any dataHe said in all his years he has 95% customer satisfaction with never losing dataIt would cost $We get a call the next morning that he cannot, in fact, get Windows installedThis should have been a warning sign to meBut no problem, he said, I can install Windows There was never any discussion about losing data I came in to the store to pick up the computerBefore I could comment on the bill of $for Windows installed...No dataNo filesNo nothingHe erased everythingIt was here where Anthony showed his true natureHe back peddled, saying there was no proof that there was anything on the computer in the first placeHe was not at fault in his opinion, since I could not show proof that I came into the store with a computer with files and data After a heated argument, Anthony agreed to search for the missing files for freeI said fine, and Anthony then put down his head, said pay me $100, and then admitted that the files were gone forever I attempted to give a local business a shotI always want to give my neighbors the benefit of the doubt and assume they are at the top of their gameThis person proved otherwise, and I recommend that you don't bring your computer anywhere near this place
I cannot tell you how upset we are right now with the service from this store. We brought in our computer with a blue screen, unable to start up. The owner, Anthony L[redacted], was welcoming and assured me that there would not be any problem in reinstalling Windows 8. He would get it up and running. He also assured me that we would not lose any data. He said in all his years he has 95% customer satisfaction with never losing data. It would cost $89. We get a call the next morning that he cannot, in fact, get Windows 8 installed. This should have been a warning sign to me. But no problem, he said, I can install Windows 7. There was never any discussion about losing data.
I came in to the store to pick up the computer. Before I could comment on the bill of $130 for Windows 7 installed...No data. No files. No nothing. He erased everything. It was here where Anthony showed his true nature. He back peddled, saying there was no proof that there was anything on the computer in the first place. He was not at fault in his opinion, since I could not show proof that I came into the store with a computer with files and data.
After a heated argument, Anthony agreed to search for the missing files for free. I said fine, and Anthony then put down his head, said pay me $100, and then admitted that the files were gone forever.
I attempted to give a local business a shot. I always want to give my neighbors the benefit of the doubt and assume they are at the top of their game. This person proved otherwise, and I recommend that you don't bring your computer anywhere near this place.
