I was contacted by the customer and was told that the vehicle needed to be towed because it was not drivable, so I picked up the vehicle and brought it back to my shop. I tested the vehicle and it was not drivable. I repaired the vehicle, test drove it upon completion and...
at that time the vehicle had no issues. I let the customer know the vehicle was ready and they picked it up. Almost one month later, the customer called again complaining that the vehicle was having the same issues as before. I again went and picked up the vehicle, towed back to my garage and tested it for issues. This time it showed a different trouble code from before, so I replaced the air temperature sensor as it indicated that was the problem and upon completion I test drove the vehicle again. The only issue after testing was an intermittent skip in the motor that I was unable to diagnose. Customer was informed of this issue when she came the second time to pick up the vehicle. Almost two weeks later, the customer called again and said that she had taken the vehicle to an auto parts store and had them to check the trouble code and it came up with an issue involving the exhaust. I told the customer to bring it back by my shop and I would check the trouble code again and that was the last that I heard from the customer.
