I researched this problem, The patient was refunded on the same day as the procedure We billed the insurance because the code came over too fast It is never paid by her insurance, and we have since removed the charge for the 3D screening, completely.I left a message on the
patients home phone, to please check her account, we charged her account and refunded it on the same day We even have a time stamp as to when it was done Hopefully she will be satisfied with the result Receiving a bill from us was an error and is correctedThank you*** ***Billing dept###-###-####

An apology letter was immediately sent to the patient.  Her copayment was here.  Along with apology letter, I sent a copy of her claim, the original receipt for her copayment, and a copy of the explanation of benefits from [redacted]
