mr*** had his car towed from *** chrysler to my shop for engine diagnosis and conformation that the timing chain had broken.I informed him it needed an engine and he agreed to repair the vehicle.after finding and pricing an engine mr*** informed me that he had found one and was sending it
to my shop.I do not install customer supplied parts for many reasons,warranty ,improper parts ordered,poor quality...if I do in rare occations I charge an hour and no warranty.he agreed and I went forward.due to very poor maintaning of the vehicle there was a massive amount of sludge on all the covers and parts that were needed for the new engine.it took days to clean all the crap out.the new engine specifically says to remove all sludge from old parts or void of warranty.after installation the vehicle didnt run after further diag it needed a computeri purchased a used one to find out their unprogramable and mr*** informed me to stop working on his vehicle
