My experience with DrBrown was a total fail I had been having a lot of problems and was referred to his office My first appointment with him, he barely even looked up from his laptop He wanted an endoscopy and gave me the option for a colonoscopy as well and I said to just in case and to get it over with while I was under I really didn't feel comfortable but assumed he's the expert
My procedure wasn't able to be done for a month and a half of incredible pain with nothing to help me The procedure went fine and we learned a few things but there were some concerns so we had to do more tests, which came back fine
I got one last call to tell me that the tests were fine and that was the end of it Not even a response to call them if I don't feel better in such and such a time Not a recommendation of a specific diet or trying to remove certain foods We know there's something abbut they don't care to figure it out You know, the whole reason I went there in the first place so I am basically back at square and having to start with another specialist

I had the same problem [redacted] had. Please do not use this center. I turn 50 and was told by my family doctor I need a colon test. This office coded it wrong and would not change the code ( how long will that take). I talked to my [redacted] and [redacted] and was told they just need to change the code. Dr [redacted] C [redacted] refuse to change the code which cause me $508 a week before Christmas. The reason they refuse to change the code is because in 2002 my mom had colon cancer. But this is not the reason I had the test it is because I turn 50 and was told this is what I needed to do. It is like the Center for colon and Digestive Disease is punishing me because of my mom. From this point on I will Never give my family history to any doctor. And I advise everyone else to do the same. I work very hard and pay [redacted] to cover my preventive test 100%. What difference do it matter If I pay or my insurance pay? Dr. [redacted] will be getting paid. Check things out before the test. Be careful...

Review: The company told me (repeatedly) that they take my insurance. They then sent me a bill for a large sum of money. They led me to believe that my insurance would pay in full. After calling the office several times, the office staff repeatedly told me that they take my insurance, that they don't know why my insurance isn't paying in full, and that I should take this matter up with my insurance carrier. At no time did they say that they were out of network with my insurance carrier. I called my Insurance, they immediately told me that he is "out of our network". I would never have seen this doctor if I had known that he was out of network. In my eyes, this constitutes fraud.Desired Settlement: I do not feel that I should be responsible for the payment issued by said company, as they did not disclose to me that they were NOT part of my insurance network, and that I would have to be responsible for any deductible or other payments if the insurance does not pay. From the beginning they led me to believe that they took my insurance in full. I would like this bill to be forgiven as I feel I was fraudulently mislead by this company's office staff.
