In response the your comment: I am assuming that you needed a building permit for your building and you have had a final inspection done by the local townIf the building trusses are outside of the allowable warpage the inspector would have failed the buildingAlso after reviewing your contract it does not specify that your building would be designed for drywall which means that you have trusses 4' OC and need 2' OC for drywall which means that your building is no longer up to code unless you had someone do the design to do additional framing for drywallI feel that in the construction industry dealing with the weather, and etc: two weeks is a very reasonable time frameAttached is a copy of your contract clarifying that the building roof system was not set up for a drywall ceilingWith all this being said My offer still stands as before
What is the amount of refund you are requesting?

rejecting this response because:There was no amount offered,I think due to time and material loss $2000.00 would be a fair settlement.Regards,[redacted]
Review: 1) Rafters are not on 4' center had to install several nailers to install ceiling;
2) walls are not on 2' center so drywall will not line up, have to install more nailers;
3) metal was scratched up during install and was told they would come out to touch up, never happened;
4) hurricane braces, all but two installed backwards, during ceiling install had to cut notches out to fit over braces;
5) job started two weeks after initial promised start date, materials sat in driveway for these two weeks;
6) changes were never communicated by contractor until we called them to verify information; and
7) there's a buckle in metal near window, was told couldn't be fixed.Desired Settlement: Partial refund requested to help cover additional costs
