This used to be a fantastic company but in the last few years things have gone downhill drastically! Receptionist is cold and nasty, Beth is the same. I understand they are related so that might account for something but the shocker is Andy the owner. He was always a really great guy to deal with. Now he avoids customer contact like the plague and leaves that up to the two previously mentioned. I just had a heater installed on an insurance claim and that was a real fiasco. The installation was shoddy and they left a mess in my house. Now I have an issue with moldy water in the condensate drain because the installation was not done correctly and they want to charge me for a service call unless they can prove it was their fault. Well DUH!!, There was no problem before the new installation!!! On top of all that they tell me my account is flagged because of late payments!!!! I have never made a late payment to anyone in my life, all payments to Competitive have been cash right then and there including the new heater!!! I told them to make this service call and then we are done. I will NOT deal with anyone that accuses me of late payment. I have an 850 credit score and have had that score my entire adult life, you don't get that by making late payments!
Competitive heating and air conditions is not a good company. I had a very bad experience with a water heater, wife Beth very rude to say the least. Do not live up to their warranty FInd someone else. Evelyn
The manufacturer's warranty does not apply to a water heater having issues from sediment build up. I couldn't give you a new water heater under warranty because it wouldn't be covered by the manufacturer. We flushed it out twice to be sure everything that could be cleared out was. We did not charge you for the second visit. We tried to do everything we could. I'm sorry we weren't able to provide a better solution.
