Review: My complaint spans over several Complaint Type. My overarching complaint is with the way they are very slow in returning my calls or replying to my emails/texts. For the past month (since 4th of July) I have been trying to reach the company to get my gutter fixed that they broke when they performed the remodel. I received one email (on/about 8 July) which stated they would be by the following week to fix the gutter, but they were a no show. When I emailed/texted him asking why they did not show up and when I could expect them he failed to reply. It took me seven attempts to contact him (which spanned over a three week period) before he finally replied and he told me they would be by on Tuesday (6 Aug) to fix it and once again he was a no show. This man is very unprofessional and I feel as though his license needs to be revoked. Last year when he built my addition I had nothing but broken promises from him and a lot of stress because of his failure to do his job. Listed below are my major issues:1.My wife and I signed the contract in December. Work did not begin until May and did not finish unti late October. Five months to do a 13x26 addition and a 13x12 shed. Totally unacceptable.2.He failed to order the trusses until the foundation was poured; which took over three weeks to get in.3.He ordered the wrong door for the addition; which delayed the project for four weeks.4.Prior to going on vacation (late June) he assured my wife and I that by the time we returned (which was a week) the siding and gutters would be done on the addition and the shedneither was done.5.After the door was installed it took nearly two weeks before any additional work was done on the inside.6.On/about 5 June I told him what paint and tile I wanted for the addition. When it came time to lay the tile (which was sometime between late July mid-Aug) I was informed by him that [redacted] did not stock the tile and it would have to be special ordered. I settled on a different tile in the interesDesired Settlement: Because of the amount of stress I want a refund for the total amount of the project.

Response:
I spoke with [redacted] from the comapny. He says the company was hired to do an addition on this customers home last October and the workmanship/materials used on the addition only are covered by a warranty for 1 year. The addition has been completed. [redacted] stated although the gutter was not installed by his company he did receive communication from [redacted] that the elbow from the gutter blew off. The company came out in July and put the piece back on. [redacted] stated that any issues regarding services that may need to be performed and are covered by the warranty would need to be communicated via email so they have a paper trail. The last time the company heard from [redacted] was in July. They were not aware the elbow has fallen off again. The company is more than willing to come back out to the property and attach the spout again. [redacted] has mentioned that if [redacted] would like this done he can email [redacted] to ask for that service.
