The old fitting that was replaced was leaking to start with as that was why we were called out. We put thread tape on it to temporarily fix the pool heater so it could still be operational. When the fitting was reinstalled it had broke the rest of the way. We had ordered a new part, installed it and brought the pool back operating condition. We will let the CCB come out to your property and inspect the system and see what they find. Have a nice day. -- Thanks, Travis R[redacted] President Commercial Air, Inc. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Commercial Air came out and tried to fix the small leak I had with tape. Upon putting it back together Reice tightened it with channel locks and cracked the fitting which left it unopertional and never ran the whole month of July.
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:You can not tell if it is the same fitting without taking the heat pump apart. This fitting is a part of the heater and not a pvc fitting that can be purchased retail anywhere. i have been a loyal customer for over twenty years, and Commercial Air serviced a previous heat pump also. So it is not a sudden decision to not work on pool heaters. I was told it was because I didn't pay the invoice in full. Mostly what was discounted was a rental of a pump which they own for $95. it hasn't been a complete year since the repair. I haven't checked with CCB but I thought a service of major components on equipment has a one year warranty. I covered the equipment during cold weather and keep it operational during freezing weather.I missed some of the season last year so I was hoping to get my equipment operarational before Memorial Day.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
In regards to [redacted] complaint, The Fitting replaced on (7-27-16) was already leaking water when we had arrived. We attempted to fix the issue with out ordering new parts, the part was brittle and broke. "it was...
already broke" . We were not charged for the parts due to manufactures delay and we passed that on to [redacted]. When she had called on (4/26/17) the same fitting was leaking, we had told [redacted] that we no longer work on pool heaters, she said but a heat pump is a heat pump, that is not true. No warranty on replacement parts. As far as the bill on (7-27-16) we do not feel that the reduced price was necessary but we value our customers and like to work with them when we can. In this case it was better to collect part of the payment opposed to nothing and a court battle.
