I had Comfort install two new windows and do a bathroom demo/renovation for me I was extremely pleased with my experience and with the quality of the workmanship I'd definitely use them again

Comfort Widow and Doors [redacted] contracted two three panel hollow wood fiber interior doors, handle supplied by customer and hinges by Comfort. The wood trim was old and we tried to save it and could not. We noted on the contract that we would save the trim "if possible", which... all of this is clearly written on the contract. (we would be happy to send a copy) Comfort does on the job training regularly and never send out an inexperienced person without a Comfort trained crew leader. We were contacted by Mr. [redacted] that one of the doors was delaminated which he supplied us with photos. We reached out to the manufacturer and negotiated an upgrade to a solid core door for the customer inconvenience, this was at no charge to the customer for the upgrade. This is a $400 value. Comfort went out to install the two new doors and our crew leader noticed a blemish on one of the recessed panels on one the door, so he brought this to the office and customers attention. We reordered the new door and we are waiting for it to be received so we can reinstallThe damaged ceiling was not brought to our attention until we received this complaint nor the blood smear. We would be happy to include the ceiling repair as part of the install of the replacement sold core door. Comfort is as always working towards a positive solution. We will do what we can to accommodate the customer so he doesn't have to take any additional time off.Thank you,Stephen ***

I was told none of my indoor molding would be removed, but most of my upstairs was. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], please see my response.I received a phone call from Mark on Wednesday May 4th. This was the first verbal communication I’ve had with Comfort about our complaint. So the claim that they have been in “been in constant communication” is a bit of a stretch. Mark said he had just been made aware of the issue, and seemed to be unaware of some details. He stated that their copy of the contract explicitly said the words hollow core doors. I proceeded to tell him that our contract did not say that and that I had read over it very carefully. He requested a copy of the contract and I scanned and sent it the same day via email. He has not responded as he said he would. I tried calling him today at about 3:30 to follow up and it went to voicemail. I find this very troubling that they’re contract is worded differently. Aside from this dishonesty I think we deserve at least a partial refund due to the fact that I had to take off from work two additional times as a result of their mistakes with installation.Regards,[redacted]
